Empowering Musicians to Lead, Learn, and Inspire
The Band Experience is an annual music workshop designed to equip musicians & aspiring
BTS music workers with the tools and skills necessary for successful careers in the music
industry. Typically held in the summer, the event emphasizes breakout sessions,
presentations by top professional musicians and artists, and live demonstrations by select
bands during Jam Sessions. This includes;

These sessions offer invaluable learning opportunities for both new and experienced musicians to enhance their technical abilities, stay informed about current industry trends, and receive practical feedback from leaders in the field.
The workshop is traditionally offered free of charge to encourage and inspire musicians at all stages of their careers—whether they are just starting out, seeking a fresh start, or looking to change direction. By removing financial barriers, the event remains accessible to both professionals and amateurs, welcoming a diverse array of talent eager to further their education and expand their network within the industry.
We firmly believe that learning to play musical instruments through consistent practice and lessons will keep youth productively occupied during their free time. Music can help steer children away from problematic behaviors that are becoming increasingly common. We also see the music program as an opportunity to bring community members together and foster unity. As participants learn about each other’s cultures and musical traditions, it helps to strengthen bonds and cultural understanding within the neighborhood. By encouraging the exchange and appreciation of diverse cultural perspectives through music, we hope to create a more cohesive community where all residents feel respected and included.
