We firmly believe that learning to play musical instruments through consistent practice and lessons will keep youth productively occupied during their free time. Music can help steer children away from problematic behaviors that are becoming increasingly common. We also see the music program as an opportunity to bring community members together and foster unity. As participants learn about each other’s cultures and musical traditions, it helps to strengthen bonds and cultural understanding within the neighborhood. By encouraging the exchange and appreciation of diverse cultural perspectives through music, we hope to create a more cohesive community where all residents feel respected and included.
